Dream Potter

Did you guys catch Dream Potter on Channel 8 every Monday? it's about families who are having difficulties coping with their lives due to liabilities or illness within the family member.

Last night was the last episode for the show and they featured this 85 year old woman whose having difficulty with life but still wants to contribute and help the needy. The woman had this very unfaithful husband who had been having affairs and left home years back when they were younger. One fine day, she saw her husband in a nursing home, old and unknown to his surrounding, and took pity on him and took him back home. She have to tolerate with all the insults and whisperings people have been saying about her husband and decades later she forgive him and brought him home...

she had a son whom she took good care of and eventually he left the family without coming back. His son had a child and he push the responsibility back to her mother to take care of her grandson. However, it was not long that she realised her grandson commited suicide and she was in great sorrow and despair.

Sad things didn't just end there..She was diagnose with some illness and had to undergo operations. however, due to heavy side effects, she's blind... The amazing thing is she never gave up on life. She makes a living by making beaded baskets. She never asked for anything in return and even open a fair so as to raise funds for the needy..

I teared on the part where she gave ang bao and visit the needy families, giving her words of wisdom.. I remember she held this woman's hand in her palm and tell her:"you have to stand up.. i've been through all this over the decades and i'm still standing strong(something like that)" and she really did.

We're always complaining...constantly..In my case, i'm whining about why i haven get my iphone when in fact, we already have everything we need... what we want always exceeds what we need. we must learn to be contented that we have friends family and loved one by our side.

Having been said, i still want my iphone coz i waited for very long alr.. haha! but people, please learn to be Zi Zhu Chang Le.
